This will ensure an even burn all the way down. By burning your candle for a minimum of 2.5 hours on the first burn, you can avoid unsightly 'tunnelling' through the middle of the candle, which wastes wax and compromises the performance of your candle. The maximum recommended burn time is 4 hours at a time.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eKeeping wooden wicks short will prolong the life of your candle and promote a high quality burn. We recommend you keep them to a length of of 3-5mm. Keep your candle free from dust by using the bamboo lid for the container.
